Pepper’s story

I am very great full to have found suh an amazing site. my dane pepper was born May 18/2006 she soon will be 5 and for a while i didnt think she would see her fifth birthday. She started limping and after seeming the vet on feb28/2011 we were givin the worst new and my world came crashing in. At first we opted not to do amputation or chemo, i am a holistic nutritionis and we opted the natural rought. with homiopathy, herbs, energy healing and more. also using a product called RESVANTAGE, which is ment to alter the DNA of the cancer cell to prevent them from spreading. The cancer was getting more and more painfull and she had lost almost all use of her  left leg. We had decited to make a call ether way, so exactly 6 weeks from diagnosis we did more x-rays and blood work. as of yet there is no sing that the cancer has spred and with per quality of life in mind we decided to amputate. We are now on day 2 post op and she is doing way better than expected. She is getting around (she gets tired very fast but stable). up on the couch, up the stairs and pain seems minimal, even cut out the medicam and only using tramadol today. less pain meds than before the serg… i am holding on hope that the cancer stays away, i am keeping up with my natrual cancer treatments. thanks to everyone here for your support i will keep you all updated on peppers progress. my heart goes out to all of you who are going through this and for those who will. these try’s are truly amazing. i know mine is the light of my life..

    Hey Pepper & Co.,
We’re so sorry you have cancer. It’s no picnic but with a Mom like yours you’ll do just great.

At some point we would love to talk to your Ma about her practice and possibly interview her for a blog post (or two or three!) or to be a guest on our radio show. You name it! Of course, we’ll wait until things calm down a bit, we know how it goes. Whenever she’s ready…

Meanwhile if there’s any thing we can do to help, please let us know OK? Paws crossed for a speedy recovery.
