well we are 9 weeks post diagnosis, and 3 wweeks post op. i never thought we would get here and pepper is better than ever. we are compleatly off pain meds and the last of her stiches come out in 1 week. they sould of all been out by now but lats monday when we took the staples out, all looked ok but when i woke up tues morning it had re opened. there must of been a fluid pocket that prevented the skin from sealing compleatly. So we were back at the vet wed morning they put her under again and had to re cut new sking and re stich., the vet added a drainage tube as well. it was looking really good but when i woke up friday morning, my other dog diva must have been liching pepper and 3 stiches in the middle were pulled out. back to the vet we go. they just did lockal freezing and re stiched her up once again. Its now looking very good . the tube came out today and we are getting there. Pepper is stong and moving around with more and more ese. she is even jumping up again to give me hugs. she is back to her old self (-1 front leg). she is happy and strong. the lattest bio scan shows no sign of the cancer spreding and we are very hopfull. ether way she is happy and i am so glad i decided to amputate. we have a second chance with our sweet pepper and we are enjoying every moment. we are continuing with all the natural supplements and energy healing and hopfully we can kick the cancer. Pepper will turn 5 on the 18th of may and i never thought we would see this day.. Thanks again to everyone for all your support.. xoxo
